October 2008

A few months earlier I got an invitation to give a seminar at a cancer conference on Kos. As this is a greek island in the south-east mediterranean I had no trouble convincing Leila to come with me. Also along for the trip was my student Ossia and her man Mudtu. The conference was mostly not so good, but there were a few quality presentations. As usual I presented our model and continued the work of "spreading the word" and found that people remain receptive to the concept. Ossia presented her "melanoma remembers" poster and managed, with Mudtu, to see a good deal of the island. Fortunately the kids would occasionally drag us around with them in their rental car - so Leila & I got to see a few things too.

It was sunny every day, the sea was warm, and the food was excellent. There are cats everywhere.

Ossia also had some pictures on her camera ...
