Christoph & Anneli come to visit us and we take them to the Rigi for a bit of a hike. First, we visit Luzern to have a quick look at its famous covered bridges. Then we hop on a ferry and ride it across the Viervaldstattersee to Vitznau (445m), from there we take a cog-train up to the top of the Rigi (1800). After that it's a simple stroll down the other side of the mountain to Goldau (510m) and a train ride back to Luzern. The weather looked a bit threatening at times, but it didn't rain and we had a great day. Most pics by me, the really good ones by Christoph.
