Leila and I go to canton Appenzell Innerrhoden and walk from Brülisau to Wildhaus in canton St Gallen. On Saturday, we ride trains and buses to arrive at Brülisau (915m) in the late afternoon, from there we walked to the Sämtisersee (1211m) where we spent the night at Gasthaus Plattenbödeli. Next morning we pushed on up the valley to the Fählensee (1453m) and then further on up to the top of the pass (2011m). After this it was just a long walk down to Wildhaus (1024m). While the weather wasn't perfect, it was never too bad. A brilliant walk, first time we walked (bus stop to bus stop) across a pass too.
