Liz Radcliff
After leaving school I worked at the Southport Court House in the District and Magistrates courts from 1988 to 1995, when Paul was transferred to the Manual Arts Department at Emerald State High School. I could not transfer so I applied for and won a Registrar position at Emerald North State School, where I worked until 1997, when Paul and I decided that there was not enough money in teaching so we bought a business in Brisbane. Paul now owns a Touch Up Guys franchise, no it is not a rude business, he fixes stone chips and scratches on cars, motorbikes etc. I tansferred to Wishart State School where I worked until 2004 and decided I needed a change, so applied for and won the registrar position at Sunnybank State High School. I have really enjoyed the change although some of the students can be very challenging. I love working in schools, and really don't think I would want to work anywhere else. We live at Coorparoo in Brisbane, in a Queenslander that we have been slowly renovating. We had to basically gut the whole house and start again. We will eventually move back to the Gold Coast, as Paul wants to be closer to his family, but we will wait until Jake has finished school. It was great to catch up with everyone at the reunion, if anyone would like to contact me my details are as follows ... lizradcliff@optusnet.com.au or eradc1@eq.edu.au
