On the morning of Dec 28 a minor miracle occurred. Christoph rang a local camera shop in Bensheim and discovered that they indeed had one final example of the camera he and I were searching for in stock and yes, it was the el-cheapo price I wanted. With less than an hour for Leila and I to catch a train for Zürich, Christoph and I raced into town and I bought myself a shiny new Olympus C-2100UZ.

Awesome ... no time to get anything else though. Christoph loaned me a memory card for the Swiss trip. I managed to get one good shot of him with it before we boarded the train. Four hours later Leila and I were in Zürich. I had booked a room for us in the Adler, a very nice three-star hotel situated right in the middle of the old city. We spent two nights and two days wandering around ... it was beautiful, entrancing and romantic. We were very sad to leave.
